Life after snooze……
On February 23, 2011 I made the personal challenge to myself to no longer use the snooze function on my alarm clock. My snooze is set to five minutes and I had gotten in a horrible habit of snoozing four to five times a day (just ridiculous I know!) I wasted up to twenty minutes of my day sleeping,when I could have gotten up and been more productive. Snoozing is a habit that we need to break. We need to be discipline enough to set a time to begin having a productive day and DO IT! The only thing that comes to a sleeper is a dream. You have two choices to spend your time sleeping and dreaming or you can get up and make things happen.
Since I have discontinued using the snooze function on my alarm I have experienced much greater success in my day to day activities. Now I wake up earlier which allows me to take my time and better prepare mentally for the days upcoming challenges. I no longer feel rushed in the morning. I can take my extra twenty-five minutes and use it to exercise and eat a healthy breakfast. I even find myself being less tired and stressed throughout the day. I would like to extend my challenge to you! NO MORE SNOOZE! Use your extra twenty or twenty-five minutes a day more productive. Get up and eat a healthy breakfast! Get up and exercise! Get up and work on your business or career goals!
